“Oh my God. Today I prayed for the internet” – WI FI performance in Piacenza

Internauts, friends, followers,

a few months ago (it was September) I presented for the first time a compilation video called "Oh my God. Today I prayed for the internet" in the context of the Livenel Festival in Piacenza organized by PLACENTIA ARTE.

In that occasion the video was distributed to the audience through a local wifi connection mounted on a travelling hearse.

The video has been transmitted first on a ritual procession to the followers of the hearse and then, as the hearse drove through the city for a while, to all the unaware town passerbies.

Well, now thanks to the help and the work of Marcantonio Lunardi and Ilaria Sabbatini

I can finally upload the video/photographic documentation of the event.
Hope you'll apreciate!

Wishing you well!

Performing my new work “Oh My God. Today I prayed for the Internet” on LIVENEL Performing Festival

Dear friends,

this sunday, in the context of the LIVENEL Performing Festival organized by PLACENTIA ARTE, I will stream my new work "Oh My God. Today I prayed for the Internet" through a public Wi-Fi hotspot mounted on an itinerant hearse car.

The public can paricipate at the event using a smartphone/tablet and following the hearse for a short distance. After that the car will continue his travel around the streets of Piacenza before it - and the WiFi signal - is definitely dispersed in town.

The Artist is typing
Online exhibition at StorageUn.it

I just wanted to let you know that starting from today I will exhibit and perform my new online work "The Artist is Typing" on Storage Un.it, a small online space located in a storage unit @ arebyte Gallery in London.

Whenever you want, 24/7, you can check out me , my presence and, ultimately, my artistic aura in the intimate act of typing on my laptop keyboard writing art statements, press releases,  unpublished poetries, self-promotion emails, private love letters, amazon orders, google search queries, HTML code and many other keyboard-based activities.

After all, art is life and life is what happens while you are typing.

The online exhibition is curated by Filippo Lorenzin and will be hosted by Storage Un.it, a small project space located in a storage unit @ arebyte Gallery in London which  features a series of projects which take place online and investigate the relationship between the URL & IRL.
